El transporte en el siglo XIX era muy diferente al actual. No hab\u00eda aviones ni autom\u00f3viles para los viajes de larga distancia. Mientras se inventaban y probaban nuevos medios de transporte m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos en las zonas pobladas, la regi\u00f3n de los Adirondack llevaba a\u00f1os de retraso.
