Don\u2019t miss this opportunity to learn about the intersection of mapping, nature, and community.<\/p>\n<p>Ezra is excited to share how Green Goat Maps came to be what it is today. He&#8217;ll cover how and why Green Goat Maps came to be as well as how his team is influencing recreation and policy decisions across the state. He&#8217;ll also share the progress they have made in supporting accessibility efforts of land trusts and in welcoming a more diverse group of recreationists. Ezra moved back to Saranac Lake in 2012 with a goal to use his passion for research to improve regional social and environmental issues. This led to performing field surveys of invasive species and then to creating beautiful maps.
