Junto con su esposa, Jean, su hijo, Joel, y su hija, Maggie, sirvi\u00f3 al p\u00fablico en Blue Mountain Lake desde 1984 hasta 2010.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><div  class=\"flex_column av_one_third  av-break-at-mobile flex_column_div ep-lazy-loaded first\" ><div class=\"flex-column-inner\"><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-16857 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theadkx.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Dell-Jeffery_crop.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"157\" \/><\/p><\/div><\/div><div  class=\"flex_column av_two_third  av-break-at-mobile flex_column_div ep-lazy-loaded\" ><div class=\"flex-column-inner\"><\/div><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Dell Jeffery <\/strong>sigui\u00f3 un camino no tradicional para convertirse en Guardabosques. Se alist\u00f3 en el Ej\u00e9rcito en 1976 y estuvo en servicio activo tres a\u00f1os. En 1983 pas\u00f3 a ser Guardia Nacional a tiempo completo en Siracusa. Se retir\u00f3 de la Guardia Nacional en 1996. A continuaci\u00f3n trabaj\u00f3 para la Oficina de Servicios para la Infancia y la Familia del Estado de Nueva York guiando a adolescentes condenados en viajes por la naturaleza durante todo el a\u00f1o en el Parque Adirondack.  Durante esos a\u00f1os, pas\u00f3 150 d\u00edas al a\u00f1o, en invierno y en verano, acampando y dirigiendo actividades de aventura. Se jubil\u00f3 en 2017; era hora de dar a otra persona la oportunidad de disfrutar del mejor trabajo del mundo.<\/p>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><div  class=\"flex_column av_one_third  av-break-at-mobile flex_column_div ep-lazy-loaded first\" ><div class=\"flex-column-inner\"><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-16856\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theadkx.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Megan-LaPierre_crop.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"162\" height=\"162\" \/><\/p><\/div><\/div><div  class=\"flex_column av_two_third  av-break-at-mobile flex_column_div ep-lazy-loaded\" ><div class=\"flex-column-inner\"><\/div><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Teniente Megan LaPierre<\/strong> ha estado con el NYS Forest Rangers desde 2007. Comenz\u00f3 en el condado de Dutchess (donde nacieron sus dos hijos) y se traslad\u00f3 a los Adirondacks en 2014. Sus distritos Rangers hasta aqu\u00ed han sido la ciudad de Franklin, el St. Regis Canoe Area, y los picos altos. Se gradu\u00f3 en SUNY ESF con una licenciatura en Estudios Ambientales y fue contratado como Guardabosques del Estado de Nueva York en 2004.
