Guided by Mohawk artist Natasha Smoke Santiago, you’ll craft your own Grandmother Moon Necklace, selecting from Natasha’s expansive and stunning bead collection.
Afterward, be among the first to explore the newly updated Artists & Inspiration in the Wild exhibit, which undergoes a significant rotation every two years. This 2025 update presents more than 70 thoughtfully selected pieces from ADKX’s collection in a new and dynamic context.

About the Artist:
Natasha Smoke Santiago is a turtle clan woman of the Haudenosaunee or People of the Longhouse, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy. Residing within the Territory of Akwesasne, Natasha has been an Artist for as long as she can remember. She works in many mediums, including Acrylics paint, Clay and an array of various materials. Natasha’s focal point in the Arts has mainly been works with Clay, creating Traditional Mohawk pottery, pipe making and sculpture. Her work is heavily influenced by her Haudenosaunee heritage, often including the Haudenosaunee history, culture, and teachings within her designs.
