DESCRIPTION:Grab a chair\, snuggle into your sleeping bag\, sit next to your bestie\, and join us for a nostalgic evening devoted to everyone’s favorite childhood destination—summer camps.\nCamp leaders and former campers from some of the Adirondack’s most noteworthy summer camps will talk about how camp life (and campers!) have changed over the years and what it is about camp that speaks to the kid in all of us. \nCome early for a special treat! At 6:00\, join ADKX staff in the Art Lab to make the most camp-loved craft—the friendship bracelet. \nCap off the evening around the campfire with s’mores and live music. Andy Walkow on acoustic guitar and Tom Techman (vocals) will offer a lively\, feel-good performance with a rich repertoire of hits from the 1950s to today. From the Everly Brothers to The Weeknd\, everyone will want to sing along! \nThis program is free for all (donations welcome).
