DESCRIPTION:In 2025 we are merging two of our signature artisan events into one new Adirondack Art Festival! \nThis festival will feature two main components: a Market where artists will be offering a variety of goods such as candles\, food and beverages\, bath and body products\, functional ceramics\, fiber arts\, and more; and a juried Showcase highlighting highlighting exceptional works by local and regional artists. The showcase will celebrate fine artistry across various mediums\, including 2D art\, 3D art\, and Crafts and Functional Art. Examples include basketry\, beadwork\, furniture\, glass\, photography\, sculpture\, and textiles. \nThis festival offers a unique and memorable day for all things Adirondack\, highlighting the variety of historical and modern processes used by makers and artisans in the North Country today. \n \nClick Here to view the artists selected for the showcase portion of the festival. \n  \nApplications for the Market + Showcase have closed for 2025.

DESCRIPTION:Gem Radio Theatre is pleased to present stories of famous and infamous characters that harken from the Adirondacks. Actors in period costume will share their stories in first-person while visitors sip tea in vintage cups.  An interesting and entertaining afternoon awaits at the ADKX. \nPerformance is free with museum admission.  \nLight fare and tea are free for ADKX members/$8 for non-members. \nPre-registration is recommended\, but not required. Registration does not include museum admission.
