The Thirsty Painters combines a fun outing with a painting class! A certified artist visits the museum to teach a fun filled painting class. In a 2 – 3 hour class, the instructor will walk you step-by-step through that days featured painting. At the end of the class, you will have your own masterpiece!
In this workshop you will be painting with acrylic paints on a snowshoe.
BreAnne Ringwald is a traveling artist who has owned her own business, Thirsty Painters, for over five years. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cazenovia College and a Masters in Art Education from SUNY Oswego. She lives in Boonville, NY and love all outdoor activities. Bree loves to travel and has done two road trips with her best friend and they plan to see all 50 states.
Spaces are limited in all workshops; advance pre-registration is required.

Payment is due upon registration. Payment can be made with a credit card. Class space will not be reserved without full payment. Please be aware that classes require a minimum number of students and are subject to cancellation due to insufficient registration.
To cancel your registration, please notify the Adirondack Experience at least 10 days prior to the workshop. With 10 day notice, we will refund your payment minus a $50 fee.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made with less than 10 days’ notice prior to the start of the class or workshop. If you register for a class or workshop within the 10-day period before a workshop, you will not receive a refund for the
There is a minimum number of participants required for all workshops. Registrants will be notified five days prior to your workshop if it is cancelled, as a result of not meeting the minimum number of registrants. Participants will receive a full refund if workshop is cancelled due to lack of participants. Some workshops have a maximum class size.
Lunch breaks provided; please enjoy lunch at the Lake View Café or bring your own lunch.
Some workshops will be held outdoors; please be prepared for bugs and weather.
Some workshops are physically demanding.
Some workshops require the use of hand tools and/or power tools which children will not be allowed to use.
