Whether you’re an expert on all things Adirondack\, or just looking for a fun night out\, everyone is welcome – it’s free to play\, and prizes will be award to the winning teams! \nWhat to Know: \n\nFree to Play\nNo pre-registration required\nTrivia is free\nPrizes awarded to top-performing teams at every event!\n\nIngrid Van Slyke earned her M.F.A. in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2023. Her work has been featured in national and international exhibitions and publications\, including the Pastel Society of America’s Enduring Brilliance exhibitions at the National Arts Club and the Salmagundi Club in New York City. Her paintings are also held in the permanent collection of the Adirondack Experience Museum. \nBased in Lake Placid\, New York\, Ingrid’s work is deeply rooted in the Adirondack landscape. Working primarily in soft pastel\, she explores the shifting effects of light\, color\, atmosphere\, and form through a loose\, impressionistic approach. Her paintings are inspired by the quiet moments and constant changes found in nature\, seeking to capture not only the appearance of a place\, but the feeling of being within it. \nAn experienced educator\, Ingrid teaches soft pastel painting to individuals and groups and regularly speaks and presents for museums and arts organizations. She is represented by Gallery 46 in Lake Placid.\nIngrid lives with her family in the Adirondacks\, where the surrounding landscape continues to provide an endless source of inspiration and discovery for her work.

As one of the few remaining small-town theaters\, it offers a space where residents and visitors alike can gather for entertainment\, conversation\, and connection. \n\n\nMeet our host: Chef Billy Trudsoe is an Adirondack native\, award-winning chef\, and owner and Executive Chef of Lizzie Keays Kitchen & Cocktails. A Chestertown native\, Billy has spent more than 25 years in the culinary world\, including in many kitchens throughout the Lake George region. He gained national attention as a contestant on Season 21 of Hell’s Kitchen\, before returning to the Adirondacks to continue building his culinary career. Today\, he brings his signature B. True’s Mad Flava to Lizzie Keays\, combining creative cuisine with a deep connection to the region he calls home. \nMeet Lizzie: Lizzie Keays was as seamstress at the Empire Shirt Factory\, which opened in Warrensburg in 1879. An old paycheck made out to Lizzie was discovered when the building was being renovated\, and the restaurant was subsequently named in her honor. Her paycheck\, which presumably was never cashed\, is now framed and hangs in the restaurant’s entrance.
