En 1985, elle a fond\u00e9 le Center for Law and Justice, une organisation communautaire de d\u00e9fense des droits de l'homme et des droits civils situ\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9gion du Capital District de l'\u00c9tat, dont elle est la directrice ex\u00e9cutive.
