DEC Lands &amp; Forests staff are well versed in the management and maintenance of the NPT. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in Natural Resources, where she is currently employed as a Natural Resources Planner for the NYS DEC with a focus on Adirondack Forest Preserve Management and Planning.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan DeSantis:<\/p>\n<p>Jon grew up hiking and camping in the Southern Adirondacks before pursuing a career in forestry. For the past 11 years he has contributed to the land management of the State lands in Fulton and Hamilton counties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo from a recent NPT clearing trip.
