L'aimable autorisation d'un propri\u00e9taire priv\u00e9 nous permettra d'explorer une partie de l'itin\u00e9raire de l'ancien chemin de fer de la rivi\u00e8re Marion, doublement c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 \u00e0 l'Adirondack Experience par deux expositions anciennes et toujours aussi populaires. Il se peut que nous ayons \u00e0 patauger dans des eaux peu profondes \u00e0 un endroit ou deux, tout en appr\u00e9ciant l'histoire et l'histoire naturelle de la r\u00e9gion. Des chaussures imperm\u00e9ables sont recommand\u00e9es pour cette promenade.<\/p>\n

Arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 ADKX avant 12 h 45. Le groupe se rendra en caravane au point de d\u00e9part du sentier non balis\u00e9 \u00e0 13h00.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ed Kanze est naturaliste, auteur et guide des Adirondacks. Il a plus de quarante ans d'exp\u00e9rience dans l'organisation de promenades dans des lieux sauvages. Ancien National Park Ranger, il a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 Acadia National Park et Gulf Islands National Seashore, a \u00e9t\u00e9 conservateur du Trailside Nature Museum \u00e0 Cross River, New York, a enseign\u00e9 l'\u00e9cologie sur le terrain pour la National Audubon Society et a \u00e9t\u00e9 naturaliste principal \u00e0 la Teatown Lake Reservation \u00e0 Ossining, New York. Ed a des racines profondes dans les Adirondacks.
