L'ach\u00e8vement du sentier en 1924 a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'une des premi\u00e8res actions de l'Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK), qui venait d'\u00eatre cr\u00e9\u00e9. Le directeur adjoint de l'ADK racontera l'histoire de la construction du sentier, son \u00e9tat actuel et la mani\u00e8re dont la conception de sentiers durables pourrait am\u00e9liorer le NPT \u00e0 l'avenir.
