Dans le cadre de notre c\u00e9l\u00e9bration des 50th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversaire de\u00a0Femme des bois<\/em><\/a>, Ces visites permettent de mieux conna\u00eetre la vie et l'\u0153uvre d'Anne LaBastille.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Penny guidera les visiteurs \u00e0 travers des s\u00e9lections de la biblioth\u00e8que et des collections d'archives du mus\u00e9e avant de se rendre \u00e0\u00a0La vie dans les Adirondacks<\/em>, Penny a choisi de visiter la cabane d'Anne LaBastille dans le cadre de l'exposition principale consacr\u00e9e au parc des Adirondacks et \u00e0 ses habitants. S'appuyant sur ses recherches approfondies et son exp\u00e9rience personnelle, Penny fait revivre le travail d'Anne LaBastille en tant qu'\u00e9crivain, \u00e9cologiste de la faune et de la flore et d\u00e9fenseur de l'environnement, ainsi que l'ind\u00e9pendance et la vision qui ont d\u00e9fini son s\u00e9jour dans les Adirondacks.<\/p>\n

Ensuite, \u00e0 15 heures, Penny sera pr\u00e9sente au magasin ADKX o\u00f9 vous pourrez acheter un exemplaire sign\u00e9 de sa biographie \u00e0 para\u00eetre.<\/p>\n

Penny Harr<\/strong> est une Adirondacker de la septi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration qui a grandi parmi les montagnes et les lacs de la r\u00e9gion. Elle est assistante d'exposition \u00e0 l'Adirondack Experience, le mus\u00e9e du lac Blue Mountain.
\nEn plus d'\u00eatre une lectrice passionn\u00e9e, elle aime faire du kayak, de la randonn\u00e9e et explorer les sites historiques du Nord-Est. Son amour des Adirondacks et de leur pr\u00e9servation fait d'elle une \u00e2me s\u0153ur d'Anne LaBastille. Elle vit dans le parc des Adirondacks o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9lev\u00e9 ses deux enfants.<\/p>\n
