“The Adirondack [Experience] is as big and beautiful as its namesake park … it’s a place worth visiting again and again.” Sandra Foyt, visitor, October 4, 2010.
These sentiments have been echoed by millions of visitors and members since we opened our doors in 1957 as the Adirondack Museum. Today, the Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake continues to delight visitors of every age. That’s because there is truly no other experience in the world quite like a day on our sprawling campus.
To continue this tradition, we rely heavily on memberships, annual fundraising campaigns, restricted donations and planned gifts. We accept gifts of every size and memberships at every level with the gratitude of knowing that others find this national treasure as important as we do.
