The ADKX continues to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the Northville-Placid Trail with our temporary exhibition, Les artisans du sentier : 100 ans de sentier Northville-Placid et through a members-only hike.

Join ADKX Conservator Doreen Alessi-Holmes as well as Shane Holmes and Matthew Waligora (NYS Licensed Guides) for a 2+ mile round trip hike on a portion of Section 8 of the NPT. We’ll arrive at the secluded and quiet Catlin Bay on Long Lake. Directions will be provided upon registration to the trail head located just east of the town center. Doreen will share interesting facts about the history of the trail and about the behind-the-scenes work entailed in creating the Trail Makers exhibition. Afterwards, celebrate the rewarding hike by enjoying an ice cream with your guides and fellow members.
