Your objects tell the full story of Black life in the Adirondacks. We are seeking a wide range of materials, including photographs, souvenirs, letters, postcards, recipes, clothing, and video clips from the Adirondacks. Any object or memory that holds a piece of the story is a vital piece of this history. Come visit with Project Curator Charles Clark III at his Albany collecting event held at Albany Public Library (Washington Ave. Branche). ALSO THIS EVENING: Albany Public Library and the Adirondack Experience will host speaker Adam Stewart at the Albany Public Library, also offered as a live-stream Zoom. Adam will offer reflections on the time he spent as a kid in the Adirondacks with Brother Yusuf Burgess.
