Stop cabin fever in its tracks and join the ADKX this winter, as we settle into our first ever winter trivia league hosted at Lizzie Keay’s Kitchen & Cocktails in Warrensburg!

For three Thursday evenings we’re getting out of the cold and coming together for great food and drinks, friendly competition, Adirondack history, and plenty of good cheer. Gather your friends, family, coworkers or neighbors and put your knowledge to the test.

Each night is its own trivia competition, with its own winners and prizes, so come for one or join us for all three. If you keep coming back, we’ll keep track of the standings along the way. Teams will earn points based on how they finish each night, and at our February Finale, we’ll crown the first ever ADKX Winter Trivia League Champion.

Meet our host: Chef Billy Trudsoe is an Adirondack native, award-winning chef, and owner and Executive Chef of Lizzie Keays Kitchen & Cocktails. A Chestertown native, Billy has spent more than 25 years in the culinary world, including in many kitchens throughout the Lake George region. He gained national attention as a contestant on Season 21 of Hell’s Kitchen, before returning to the Adirondacks to continue building his culinary career. Today, he brings his signature B. True’s Mad Flava to Lizzie Keays, combining creative cuisine with a deep connection to the region he calls home.

Meet Lizzie: Lizzie Keays was as seamstress at the Empire Shirt Factory, which opened in Warrensburg in 1879. An old paycheck made out to Lizzie was discovered when the building was being renovated, and the restaurant was subsequently named in her honor. Her paycheck, which presumably was never cashed, is now framed and hangs in the restaurant’s entrance.
