K-12 School Programs

ADKX is one of the most prolific providers of curriculum enrichment in the area and continues to have ambitious goals for serving the region’s under-resourced schools. In 2012 the Museum began to offer in-classroom outreach programs and on-site field trips free of charge to any school within one of the 12 Adirondack Park counties. Every year the Museum serves over 10,000 student through in-classroom programs, virtual sessions, and on-site museum field trips. Our educators drive 12,500 miles to reach over 300 classes in dozens of school districts every year!

Individual donations toward our school programs ensure that we can continue to meet student needs and support classroom learning goals with engaging, interactive programs. Support for the museum’s educational programs is an investment in the next generation of Adirondack citizens.
