Robert R. Worth Publications Fund

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Robert R. Worth Publications Fund, the income and principal of which will support publications dealing with Adirondack political, environmental, cultural, and artistic history.

The Worth Fund has been created as a tribute to Bob Worth, a long-serving Trustee, Board Chair, and Honorary Trustee. He was the leading force behind the publication of Steven Sulavik’s definitive book detailing the history of the Adirondack guideboat. The first Worth Fund supported project will be arranging the second printing of that important book. The Fund may also support the publication of a book based on the Museum’s successful exhibition Artists & Inspiration in the Wild.

Looking forward, the Worth Fund will generally support new scholarship of importance to the Adirondack region. The Worth Fund will advance ADKX’s mission to preserve and interpret the region’s rich and distinctive history. The Museum welcomes contributions of any level to the Fund.
